Over £660,000 raised for good causes in North West London

HealthHope Community Interest Company (CIC) has raised £662,026 through The Health Lottery for health related good causes in North West London.

Local organisations including Breathe Easy Paddington, Barnet Community Projects and The Carers Trust are among those in the area to receive funding from People’s Health Trust, the charity responsible for the distribution of the money locally.

The next HealthHope CIC society lottery draw is to be held on Wednesday, October 30th and Saturday, November 2nd when once again funds raised will help charities and not-for-profit organisations in North West London

Tessa Jelen from Breathe Easy Paddington, which received £8,000 funding, said: ‘’The funding supported weekly exercise and alternative therapy classes that brought elderly people together to improve their health, reduce isolation and provide information that is relevant to their daily lives.”

Chris Lunn, Director of HealthHope CIC, said: “The projects supported using money raised by HealthHope are extremely valuable to a wide range of individuals, we look forward to hearing more about how these initiatives are enabling people to live longer healthier lives.”
